Rush Signs a Contract for America: "I've extended my partnership at Clear Channel through 2016. I'm not going anywhere. I'm your host for life. Jason Lewis Pearl of Wisdom: "Rush's big deal underscores the power of radio, my friends. For advertisers that are missing out, this is a signal that says, 'The radio business can afford this 'cause it works, while other media are imploding.'" The left seeks to redefine patriotism as ripping America, compulsory national service, and paying the confiscatory tax rates Democrats pile on us. The USSR had patriotism, too. Every country does. Patriotism in America is more than loving a geographic area. It's about loving the ideals of the Founders. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here)

» The New York Times Sunday Magazine Profile: Late-Period Limbaugh CNBC Asks: Is Rush Worth It? Lex Luthor lookalike Michael Wolff freaked out, saying conservatism is over and Rush will soon be an "oddity." If you people don't learn how to cover the news, Rush is going to buy your network and do it right. The media uses polls to manufacture news. Examples: Voters would rather BBQ with Obama, and prefer Cindy McCain -- which is a cue for the Drive-Bys to smear her. Pearl of Wisdom: "Wesley Clark is a political hack, and he's trying to take away from McCain the #1 attraction that he has, and that is his character, dignity and heroic war service that has contributed to this status. They know exactly what they're doing."
» CBS: McCain on Clark to Obama: "Cut Him Loose"
As Obama attacks McCain, the Politico reports: McCain Game Plan Worries Insiders. Four months have passed since McCain effectively captured the GOP nomination, and the insiders are getting restless now? (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here)
Pearl of Wisdom: "I'm telling you here and now: 'crossing the aisle' and working with the left is not going to make this country better. The country is not going to improve, and it isn't going to do much for you personally." (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here)
Rush teaches a caller to be sensitive to liberal redefinition of terms. "Patriotism" now means bashing your country. "Swiftboating" now means an unjustified, dirty political attack -- when all the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth did was tell the truth about Kerry.
Pearl of Wisdom: "You Recreate '68 protesters aren't worthy of your name if you're just going to sit here as a bunch of docile little puppies and agree to be placed in a cage at the Democrat Convention. I mean, for crying out loud, why don't you guys at least go talk to Bill Ayers in Chicago and get some tips, or maybe a couple bombs?"

The Official Obama Criticizer, Bo Snerdley, critiqued the diabolical Barack Obama and his campaign's all-out assault on John McCain's Vietnam service. The Drive-Bys report that Obama "rejected" Wesley Clark's attack on McCain. Obama did no such thing! He didn't even mention Clark's name. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here)
Pearl of Wisdom: "Say what you want about John McCain, but he's right about a little, folks. To say that Obama has more experience and greater qualifications to serve as president of the United States is a joke -- and Obama's handlers know it. They know he has zero experience." (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here)
Apathy for The Messiah? How can this be? Chris Hernandez of KSHB-TV 41 in Kansas City: "There were a couple of hundred empty seats even though Obama's staff says all 1,000 tickets were given out in just two hours Saturday, and this was a much quieter crowd than at previous Obama events." (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here)
Pearl of Wisdom: "Obama isn't what he seems. He's deceptive, diabolical, downright mean. What they're trying to do to McCain with genuine lightweights, like Wesley Clark and Rand Beers who couldn't wear McCain's jockstrap, is breathtaking."
Two days after Wesley Clark's disgusting attack on McCain, the one Republican with guts fires back -- and it's Bob Dole. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here)
» MSNBC: Lindsey Grahamnesty Says Clark "Made a Huge Mistake"
Pearl of Wisdom: "Here's Harry Reid saying oil and coal make us sick and we're destroying the earth with global warming. Certainly there can't be a majority of voters who want people who think this country sucks and sins, and who want to harm it."
» A Staggering Inquirer column: "America doesn't deserve to celebrate its birthday."
Just as he does not speak "cat," Rush does not speak "woman." Unfortunately, Denise called and whispered a convoluted request for Rush to stick to the issues about McCain and Obama. That can't be what she meant, though. Rush is the only one who focuses on Obama's plans instead of his personality! (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here)
The Drive-By Media is still demonizing the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, twisting the term "swiftboating" into a metaphor for a false political attack. No one has disproved a thing those veterans said about a man they served with: John Kerry.

Don't buy the BS that the Democrats are unified. Clinton supporters vandalized a bunch of cars, spray painting them with racist anti-Obama graffiti. Meanwhile, Bill Clinton is quoted as saying Obama will have to "kiss his ass" to get his support.
Wes Clark, who made John Kerry's service the centerpiece of his 2004 convention speech, disparaged McCain's heroic military service. This attack was coordinated with Obama's speech redefining patriotism. How long will it be before Barack Obama says, "That's not the Wesley Clark I know"? (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here)
Pearl of Wisdom: "This is an effort to devalue Senator McCain's military experience and hero status, and to raise Obama's patriotic position by redefining patriotism."
Senator McCain's response to Clark was Clintonesque. He sounds hurt. Is he really surprised that Democrats seek to destroy him? (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here)
Pearl of Wisdom: "We don't need The Messiah to redefine patriotism. We know it when we see it. We know it when we don't see it."

Pearl of Wisdom: "It's suburban, GOP areas being hurt by gas prices. Lo and behold, the environment wackos are in the Boston Globe relishing their misery! They hope it'll force these voters to conform to the way liberal environmentalists think they ought to live. Liberalism is about control and relishing the loss of liberty. Pearl of Wisdom: "There's a lot happening to the Republican Party. The country club, blue-blood, Rockefeller types are trying to take it over, and exclude as much of the Republican base -- especially rural southerners and the evangelical Religious Right -- as possible. They're attacking the party from within, and then there are the usual attacks by the Democrats from without." (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here)
Illustrative of What's Gotten the Republican Party in This Condition: NY Times pseudo-conservative David Brooks praises a book urging the GOP to embrace the New Deal and activist government. They did, and they lost in 2006! Real journalism doesn't happen much anymore. Europe-loving Justice Kennedy and four Supreme Court liberals overturn the death sentence for Louisiana child rapists. Kennedy wrote that it's "disproportionate" punishment, and cruel and unusual. What is crueler: the violent rape of a young girl, or death by lethal injection while you're sedated? (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here)
» A Fantastic Investor's Business Daily Column by Thomas Sowell: So Wrong, So Often, For So Long, Yet It's Europe We Want To Copy
A Greek-Italian living in America defends Europe against a choice Rush didn't make, and gets her name thrown off Rush's all-time, top-10 favorite female names. Pearl of Wisdom: "While the rest of the world is guiltlessly walking down the path trying to figure out how to get more energy so they can use it, what are we doing? We're being told to reduce our lifestyles. It's clear that the Democrat Party and the left hate oil. They despise oil. Is that rational? No." (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here)
Who's running for Carter's second term? McCain will "green the government." Guess what it bought him with the left? Nothing! They did an exposé on his cars. A caller demands Rush lay off McCain, citing Supreme Court nominees. The liberals in the Senate confirm justices, so no conservative nominee has a chance. Yes, folks, Obama would be a disaster we can't afford, and McCain is far better. Rush is helping McCain by pointing out where he's wrong. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here)
Democrats always need a villain. Today, it's oil speculators, when they have no effect on the price going up or down. They bet on both sides, just like odds makers in sports. Besides, the media is nothing but "speculation." Rush's example: the coverage of Tiger Woods to the exclusion of all other golfers. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here)
Pearl of Wisdom: "When you put your money on the Steelers versus the Patriots, you know your money is going to have no impact on the Steelers winning. It's the same thing in the oil futures market. The bookies make sure there's money on both sides."
Nancy Pelosi now backs the Fairness Doctrine, aimed at the Rush Limbaugh Show. This is just the beginning. They're going to squelch free speech, advance socialism, reduce your freedom, and surrender to terrorists. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here)
Pearl of Wisdom: "The Democrat constituency is made up of largely two economic extremes: very wealthy and poor people. But when the Democrats view that most of the suffering on something like gas prices is in Republican, suburban, red state areas, they're happy for your suffering to continue." (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here)

Programming Alert: On Thursday, June 26 at 4:20 PM EST, Rush will do a telethon for Move America Forward. The objective is to provide the largest care package ever of items of interest to American troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Pearl of Wisdom: "I instinctively do not have a pessimistic view of the future of this country. I can find for you times in our recent past where gasoline prices have gone up identically in terms of percentage increase. Because of my advanced age of 57, I've been through these things and worse. The country is better today than at any time in my life, economically and with opportunity." (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here)
Senator McCain is clearly stronger than Obama on protecting the country. McCain has a record. Obama has none. Yet McCain threw his adviser Charlie Black under the bus for saying a terrorist attack would help McCain. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here)
The Drive-Bys focus on Don Imus again, this time for a quip about "Pacman" Jones, yet they ignore the real racism from Democrats. Official Obama Criticizer Bo Snerdley appeared on air to discuss the "slave blood" issue. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here)
Ralph Nader said Rush wants the oceans to drown us all before he'll believe the global warming hoax. Although he did this on public access TV, our microphones were there! Rush repeated his demand that NASA publicity-seeker Hansen charge him with crimes against humanity for his stand against the hoax. Finally, a voice of sanity on the environment comes from the late George Carlin. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here)
Pearl of Wisdom: "We're supposed to cry a blue river when a government has to cut back. It's our money! It was never theirs. They warn of suffering, but it'd be wonderful if people became more self-reliant. When you start depending on government for your needs, you're a slave. That's what liberals want." (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here)

Pearl of Wisdom: "Why am I the only guy that can cavort and run around with liberal women and not lose my bearings? They lose their bearings. I do not lose mine."
What's the difference between McCain and Obama? Folks, we cannot afford Obama economically or on national security. Rush would never say that about McCain.
Pearl of Wisdom: "I want to make a prediction. Before long, a story will appear somewhere in the Drive-By Media (probably AP), and will be picked up and amplified from there: 'One day after Obama warned that his critics would play the race card, Rush Limbaugh talked about how his wife, Michelle, has slave blood, but Obama doesn't.' Keep in mind when they do this that it was Charles Steele Jr. of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference who said that." (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here)
We can't drill our way out of this, liberals say, while begging the Saudis to help us drill our way out of this. One by one, Rush debunks the absurd, nonsensical liberal talking points about oil and energy independence. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here)
Pearl of Wisdom: "Dr. Hansen wants to put Big Oil guys on trial for lying about global warming! This is an insult! I mean, if anybody's going to get sued, brought on trial, brought up on charges, and thrown in jail for spreading the truth about this hoax, why not me? Come on, Dr. Hansen. Indict me!"
