A man in his twenties is facing a long time in the hospital, and when he gets out he'll face a long time in jail...following a bizarre accident on Highway 90 near Loop 1604 on the far west side overnight, 1200 WOAI news reports.
It all started when the guy rammed two cars on the highway.
Despite major damage to his own car, the man sped away, with one of the people he hit chasing him.
The guy hit the gas, and sped away at speeds of up to 100 miles an hour.
It all ended when the man slammed into a light pole at Loop 1604 and Wiseman Road, near Northwest Vista College.
The man is hospitalized with serious injuries, and when he gets better, he'll face drunk driving charges, seven counts of intoxication assault, failure to stop and render air, and other counts.
