Yahoo! sports says deal will keep Duncan with Spurs through his entire NBA career

Tim Duncan has followed through with his promise to remain with the Spurs, and Yahoo! sports reports Duncan has signed a three years, $36 million contract with San Antonio.

The contract is said to include two years guaranteed, and a third year player option.

Yahoo! sports also reports the deal includes a no trade option.

Duncan, 36, had said during the playoffs that he planned to re-sign with the Spurs, and had no intention of testing the free agent market.

Duncan has been a Spur since 1997, and he is the cornerstone of the Spurs' four NBA championship teams.

Duncan's return apparently means head coach Gregg Popovich will remain with the Spurs as well.  Coach Pop has indicated that he will remain with the Spurs as long as Duncan is with the team.
