Hardly a week goes by now without hearing of some new emerging threat to humanity. While the specter of nuclear holocaust hangs over our empty pockets, we must also diagnose what’s in the air. There is a new dis-ease. It was discovered in China last month and now it’s rapidly mutating. Tonight on Ground Zero, Clyde Lewis has the prognosis for ‘Patient Zero‘!

Oh, no, what have we done? 

George Noory's "Coast to Coast AM Early Edition" program is missing from WOAI's programming schedule. 

Quick response?  George is fine and you'll still hear him on WOAI. 

A little more detail? On July 30, Premiere Radio Networks, the syndicator of Noory's "Coast to Coast AM" show, announced it would no longer be providing the "Early Edition" program.  This was basically a repeat of previously broadcast shows - usually, but not always, from the night before. Read the release here. 

Instead, from 10pm - 12midnight, you'll hear a new, live show, "Ground Zero" with your host Clyde Lewis. This show has been vetted by Premiere, by George, and many talk radio programmers. Some might think it reminds them of "Coast to Coast" when Art Bell hosted the program.

Plus - it will be good to have a LIVE show avaiable in the event there is breaking news or events that demand the coverage you expect from 1200 WOAI.    

So - to review....

Effective 8/25, 2012, there is no longer a "Coast to Coast AM - Early Edition." That recorded show no longer exists. HOWEVER - 

You will still hear the LIVE and ORIGINAL edition of "Coast to Coast AM" - just as you always have - 12mid - 4am Monday - Friday. Also, the weekend editions of the program have not changed.

You will now hear a LIVE show from 10pm - 12mid CT - Ground Zero with Clyde Lewis. Read more about the show on this page's left hand column.
