DFW International Airport Celebrates 50th Anniversary

Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport is planning a year-long celebration of its 50th anniversary. The first flight from DFW departed on January 13th, 1974. The airport served seven-million passengers that year. The number has grown to an expected 80-million this year, making DFW the world's second- busiest airport. Airport officials expect the number to reach 100-million by 2030.
