A two-year-old child is recovering after his father accidentally ran over him in the family driveway on Christmas Day. The man took the boy to a fire station around 2 p.m. after backing his truck over the child at a home on Ray Ellison Boulevard near Apple Valley Drive. Firefighters took the boy to a hospital, where his injuries were found not to be not life-threatening.
