The Cowboys are adding a new playmaker to their offense. ESPN reports that Dallas is signing recently reinstated free agent wide receiver Martavis Bryant to the practice squad. Bryant has not played in the NFL since 2018 and has been suspended multiple times for violating the league's substance-abuse policy. The 31-year-old totaled 145 catches for 2,183 yards and 17 touchdowns in 44 career games with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Oakland Raiders. Bryant has played in the CFL, Indoor Football League and XFL since being suspended indefinitely by the NFL. The Cowboys will host the NFC East rival New York Giants on Sunday afternoon. Dallas is second in the division at 5-and-3.
