A top congressman from Texas says House Speaker Mike Johnson's recent aid bill for Israel isn't going to pass without being linked to aid for Ukraine. House Foreign Affairs Chairman Michael McCaul, an Austin Republican, voted for the bill, which diverted more than 14-billion-dollars from the Internal Revenue Service to aid for Israel. The bill passed the House with all but two GOP votes and no Democrats on board. McCaul says the bill is doomed in the Senate, which has a slim Democratic majority.
