Thousands of workers at Arlington's General Motors plant may join the United Auto Workers strike if it expands. Union leaders say they'll authorize strikes at more plants this morning unless substantial progress is made toward a deal with GM, Ford, and Chrysler. UAW Local 276 represents about five-thousand workers at GM's Arlington plant. Many of them are refusing voluntary overtime in a show of support for the 13-thousand employees on the picket lines nationwide.
