San Antonio police are investigating an officer-involved shooting that left a man dead. Police say the knife-wielding man was shot after he wouldn't drop the weapon when police told him to. Officers responded to Nicha's Comida Mexicana Restaurant off Roosevelt Avenue near Southeast Military Drive around 9:30 p.m. Saturday to a reported robbery. Police pursued the 46-year-old suspect to an apartment complex behind the restaurant. The man had a large knife, and he refused to drop it, so an officer shot him in the upper body. He died at the scene. No one else was hurt.
