The Texas Education Agency is delaying the release of campus and district accountability ratings for about a month. The agency announced Tuesday that the revised A-through-F grades, originally to be released on September 28th, are now postponed to late October. Education Commissioner Mike Morath says the agency will use the time to recalculate targets for student growth. Many districts had complained that the new formula raised goals for students who had already graduated, which would probably result in lower scores for districts.
