The family of a pilot who was killed in a Dallas air show crash last year are suing the show's organizers. The relatives of 66-year-old Len Root are claiming negligence on the part of the people who put on the show and the owners of the vintage World War Two plane Root was flying. Root was the co-pilot of a B-17 Flying Fortress that collided in midair with a P-63 King Cobra at the Wings Over Dallas Air Show last November. All six people on the two planes died in the fiery accident. Root's relatives filed suit on Thursday in Dallas County.
