The team from Needville is advancing to the Little League World Series U.S. Championship game following Wednesday's win. The Southwest Region champs defeated the Northwest Region champion Seattle 1-0 after three extra innings. The win is the fourth straight in the series for the Fort Bend County team. Their opponent for Saturday's U.S. Championship game will be decided today. If they win the U.S. Championship, the Needville squad will play in the World Series Championship game on Sunday.
