Fort Worth ISD says all school libraries in the district are closed while their books are examined for inappropriate content. The district is conducting the assessment after the removal of three books before the school year started. Several graphic LGBTQ books, including "Gender Queer," turned up in the libraries of some of the district's elementary and middle schools. The libraries are closed until the end of next week. The former director of library services, Victor Chapa, has been reassigned to an undisclosed position.
