The SpaceX facility on Boca Chica Beach isn't sitting idle while the company waits for permission for its next launch. The company tweeted pictures yesterday showing two Super Heavy booster prototypes being loaded with fuel during testing. The company didn't specify a date for the fuel tests, though one of the boosters was placed in an orbital launch mount at the facility last Thursday. SpaceX is still waiting for the F-A-A to complete an investigation into an April orbital launch that led to an explosion which destroyed its Starship prototype and its rocket booster. Debris from the launch pad rained down for miles around the South Texas facility, which led to a lawsuit from environmental groups trying to stop any further launches.
