Florida Governor and Republican Presidential Candidate Ron DeSantis is visiting the Texas border. He's laying out an immigration policy that would not allow claims of asylum between the ports of entry.

Speaking in the border town of Eagle Pass, DeSantis says he will reinstate the Trump policy of Remain In Mexico, which forced asylum-seekers to wait south of the border for their turn before a judge. He also wants to give individual states the power to deport illegal immigrants.
