UTSA has announced Asian Festival will be returning in May. The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at the UTSA Downtown Campus.

The one-day celebration, including performances, entertainment, and food will immerse residents and visitors in the diverse Asian diaspora represented across Texas and San Antonio.

Over the years, the Asian Festival has been one of San Antonio’s favorite family-friendly events with hands-on activities and opportunities to learn through experience. Festival-goers will once again enjoy authentic food, multicultural performances, music, games, art, fashion, crafts, and so much more.

Festival organizers moved the event to May to honor and celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month. The 2023 festival will be the first of an annual celebration of the contributions of the AAPI community to all aspects of Texas cultures.
