Plenty of security will be in place tonight when the Astros take on the Phillies in Game 1 of the World Series at Minute Maid Park. On Thursday, Houston Police Chief Troy Finner said officers from several agencies will be part of a large law enforcement presence in the downtown area. Finner didn't say how many, but said there will be more than enough officers to protect public safety. He says both uniformed and plainclothes officers will participate, and police will direct traffic at most major intersections.
