Residents and city officials in Uvalde are starting to discuss the possibility of a permanent memorial for the victims of the school shooting. On Tuesday, city representatives held the first of many strategic planning meetings with community members to plan what sort of monument would be appropriate. Susan Anderson, director of Planning and Development, says they plan to check out what other cities have done after suffering similar losses. She says the final decision will be determined by what the families of the victims want to see.
