The Texans are handing an extension to their top wide receiver. The NFL Network reports Houston agreed to terms with Brandin Cooks on a two-year extension, that could be worth just under $20 million per season. That will keep the 28-year-old receiver in Houston through the 2024 season. Cooks had reportedly drawn trade interest from multiple teams after leading the Texans with 90 catches, 1,037 receiving yards and six touchdowns last season. He will instead stay put with the team that traded for him back in 2020.
