It appears NBA players won't be required to get a coronavirus vaccine before hitting the hardwood this season. ESPN reports there won't be a mandate in place as the league and NBPA negotiate COVID-related protocols ahead of the new campaign. The report also notes most players are already fully vaccinated. The NBA does require staff and referees to roll up their sleeves. The new season tips off on October 19th.
