The National Rifle Association is canceling their convention in Texas due to COVID. It was set to start next month in Houston. In a statement, the NRA says that a spike in cases would have made it impossible for attendees to get the full experience. The gun group's annual party involves thousands of members coming from across the country. The NRA says they will support smaller events leading up to their convention next year, which is set for Louisville.
