Gov. Greg Abbott and Attorney General Ken Paxton are appealing to the Texas Supreme Court to lift an injunction that allows a mask mandate in Bexar County public schools. A civil district court judge granted the injunction last week, preventing the enforcement of Abbott's order barring mask requirements by local governmental entities. The Fourth Court of Appeals upheld the injunction on Thursday of last week.
