The sixth Texas House Democrat who tested positive for the coronavirus is State Rep. Donna Howard of Austin. Howard is one of nearly 60 Democrats who broke quorum and fled to Washington, D.C., last week to prevent a vote on an election integrity bill. She's a former nurse who helped establish safety protocols for the runaway lawmakers after the first coronavirus case in their midst was reported on Friday. Howard received a positive test result on Monday, but says she has no symptoms and plans to isolate.
