San Antonio Police Search For Man Who Fired Shots Off 281-1604 Flyover

San Antonio police are confirming that a man who opened fire from a freeway overpass on Thursday morning is the same one who was shot and killed by an officer at the airport several hours later. Witnesses say they saw the man shooting from an overpass at Loop 1604 and Highway 281 at about 10:30 a.m. The suspect fired about nine or ten shots without hitting anybody. On Thursday afternoon, he fired shots at the San Antonio Airport, and was fatally shot by an officer. His name hasn't been released.

San Antonio police are searching for a man who fired as many as ten shots off a flyover at 281 and 1604 late this morning. Police notified nearby businesses that were put on lockdown for awhile. Police interviewed several witnesses and are now looking for the suspect. Shell casings were found on the flyover and on the road below but no one was injured.
