American Airlines, Dell Fight Back Against Possible Voting Restrictions

American Airlines and Dell Technologies are objecting to proposals in Texas that would restrict voting access. CEO Michael Dell wrote on Twitter that "free, fair equitable access to voting is the foundation of American democracy." He said the company is opposed to a House bill that would prevent local election officials from sending out applications for mail-in ballots. The airline issued a statement Thursday they are against a Senate Bill that would limit extended early voting hours and ban drive-thru voting. Other states nationwide are considering similar Republican-led measures after this past election that saw record voter turnout.
