Jury Selection Resumes In Trial Of Accused Cop-Killer

Jury selection resumes today in the capital murder trial of an accused cop-killer. The defendant, 35-year-old Otis McKane, is charged with the execution-style shooting of San Antonio Police Department Detective Benjamin Marconi in November 2016. Jury selection started last fall, but was put on hold in December when the pandemic kicked up again. Eight jurors have already been chosen. The judge plans to seat a panel of 12 jurors and three alternates. McKane's trial date hasn't been set.
