Rockets' Harden Fined $50K For COVID-19 Violations

The NBA is dishing out a $50,000 fine to Houston Rockets' star James Harden for violating the league's COVID-19 protocols. Harden attended a private indoor party this week and video showed him without a mask. NBA policy prohibits players from attending bars or clubs and being in gatherings of over 15 people. This comes after the former MVP joined his team late for training camp earlier this month and reports he wants to be traded. Houston's season opener set for Wednesday against the Thunder was postponed due to virus issues as Harden is currently unavailable to play.
