Rockets' Harden Delayed In Taking Court

Houston Rockets disgruntled guard James Harden is being forced to wait nearly a week before he can join the team due to COVID-19 protocols. Head coach Stephen Silas said Wednesday they are still trying to figure out when he can suit up after holding out of training camp the first two days. While players are required to test negative three consecutive days before entering team facilities or taking part in workouts, ESPN reports Harden must provide six straight negative results before returning. That's likely because Harden recently attended a birthday party in Atlanta and was seen in Las Vegas nightclubs, which breaks the NBA's COVID-19 protocols. Harden reported for camp on Tuesday, two days after the rest of the team despite reportedly asking the Rockets to trade him in recent weeks.
