Texas Surpasses 1 Million Coronavirus Cases

There are more than a million coronavirus cases in Texas, and the number is rising. Erin Carlson of the University of Texas at Arlington's public health program says this increase is more concerning than in the past. He calls it a perfect storm of factors, including the lack of social distancing, a high rate of community spread, and people experiencing quarantine fatigue. Governor Greg Abbott is encouraging everyone to follow the public health guidelines and is planning to "surge" medical personnel and supplies to hot spots.
