Officer Involved Shooting Leaves Man Wounded, Officers Not Hurt

San Antonio Police were involved in an officer-involved shooting overnight.

Officers had been called to the Bulverde Oak Apartments in the 3500 block of Canyon Parkway on a call of a domestic disturbance. Police say there was a man, a woman and a two-month-old baby inside the apartment, when the man and woman got into an argument. When police arrived, the woman was on the balcony and the man was inside the apartment. She told police the man had a gun and a knife. When the man came onto the balcony, he reportedly opened fire. As officers were taking cover, the man came out of the apartment and opened fire again, hitting their patrol cars and multiple vehicles in the apartment complex parking lot. Two officers returned fire, hitting the suspect five times. He was taken to a hospital in critical condition. Neither officer was hurt.
