City Pools And Splash Pads To Remain Closed For The Entire Summer

All city pools and splash pads in San Antonio will remain closed the entire summer because of the increase in coronavirus cases. Homer Garcia the Third, director of San Antonio Parks and Recreation, made the announcement on Thursday. Gov. Greg Abbott allowed pools to reopen with limited capacity in early May, and San Antonio was planning to reopen them on July 3rd. In late June, Mayor Ron Nirenberg ordered them to stay closed.
