Today is the last day for Texans to register to vote in the primary runoff. Applications to register must be mailed no later than today. The pandemic prompted Governor Greg Abbott to delay the vote from May until July. This election will decide who will be the Democratic candidate for one of the state's seats in the U.S. Senate. The winner will face GOP incumbent John Cornyn in the fall. The other runoff is for a spot on the Texas Railroad Commission.
