The man who waved a chainsaw at protesters in the streets of McAllen faces several assault-related charges. Daniel Peña carried a chainsaw with him, which he revved up while yelling at George Floyd protesters to go home Friday in McAllen. He was arrested later and charged on Saturday with four counts of deadly conduct and one count of assault. No one was hurt during the incident. Peña's interaction with the protestors was caught on video, which ultimately got thousands of views on social media and was covered by CNN and other national mainstream media outlets.
