House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will be a special guest at the Texas Democratic Party's virtual convention next week. Pelosi says Texas is her main target in the 2020 elections. The party's state convention had been scheduled to take place at San Antonio's convention center, but the coronavirus pandemic has prompted the party to have a virtual event instead. The Texas GOP is planning an in-person convention at Houston's George R. Brown Convention Center in July.
