TWC: Texas Unemployment Claims Top Two-Million

The Texas Workforce Commission says more than two-million Texans have filed for unemployment benefits since the pandemic started. The TWC says that's three years' worth of unemployment claims in the past two months. More than three-billion state and federal dollars have been paid out in unemployment claims. People are starting to go back to work, but some who are considered high-risk, and would put their health in danger by leaving home, will still be eligible for benefits if they don't return to the workplace.
