El Paso Officials To Impose More Restrictions To Stop Coronavirus Spread

Officials in El Paso and in the county are working on a plan to impose new restrictions to stop the spread of the coronavirus. Yesterday, Doctor Hector Ocaranza, director of the city-county health authority, said more restrictions are coming because of evidence of "community spread" of coronavirus in the region. El Paso Mayor Dee Margo says with confirmation of community spread, everyone should strictly observe the stay-home order issued last week. Margo says city and county officials will be working out the specifics of the new restrictions this week.
