Police in Austin are declining to release major details following the arrest of a woman in connection with the disappearance of a mother and child. Austin Police Chief Brian Manley did not release the suspect's identity during a news conference this afternoon. She had previously been named as Magan Fieramusca. The woman was arrested near Houston. Police found three-week-old Margot Carey in the suspect's home. They also found the body of the child's mother, Heidi Broussard, inside a car trunk. The Harris County Medical Examiner's office says the cause of death was strangulation. The suspect is charged with kidnapping and tampering with a corpse. More charges are possible.
