Acting Homeland Security Secretary Visits South Texas

The acting head of Department of Homeland Security says 70 miles of border wall in Rio Grande Valley should be in place by next year. Chad Wolf visited South Texas yesterday for a tour of new border wall construction. Wolf said that the Army Corps of Engineers is working to acquire the land needed to keep the construction project on schedule. Wolf said DHS hopes to build hundreds of miles of new wall along the U.S.-Mexico border by the end of next year.
