Report: U.S. Launched Cyberattack On Iran

A new report says the U.S. carried out a cyber attack against Iran after last month's attack on Saudi Arabian oil facilities. Reuters cites two American officials who said the attack was aimed at limiting Iran's ability to spread propaganda. The attack apparently targeted physical hardware, but no other details were given. The U.S., Saudi Arabia and a number of Western allies place the blame for the refinery attack on Iran, which Tehran denies. An investigation last year found dozens of websites pushing Iranian propaganda to at least 15 countries.
