Texas beats Oklahoma in Red River Showdown

Cameron Dicker kicked the go-ahead field goal with nine-seconds left to lift number-20 Texas past fifth-ranked Oklahoma 48-45 at the Cotton Bowl.  The Longhorns led  45-24 in the fourth quarter but the Sooners rallied for three  touchdowns in less than six minutes to tie the game.  Sam Ehlinger threw for 314 yards, two touchdowns, and rushed for three more scores and 72  yards in the winning effort. The Longhorns improved to 3-and-0 in  Big-12 play and 5-and-1 overall.  Oklahoma signal caller Kyler Murray  had 304 passing yards, four touchdown passes and a rushing score.   Murray also turned the ball over three times as the Sooners fell to  5-and-1 and-2-and-1 in conference play.
