More information is starting to come out about the arrest of a Border Patrol agent in South Texas who is accused of being a serial killer. Webb County Sheriff's Office Chief Federico Garza told reporters today Juan David Ortiz attempted to do suicide by cop last weekend, but was captured by law enforcement. It's believed Ortiz targeted all four victims because they were sex workers with Garza saying he gained their trust then murdered them earlier this month. The investigation started after a potential fifth victim was able to escape and flag down a state trooper. Prosecutors are promising to bring the full force of the law against Ortiz. It's believed he acted alone and a motive is still being figured out.
