Drug Suspect Leads Several Police Agencies in 100 MPH Chase

Why do you think they call it dope?

A San Antonio man led multiple police agencies on a 100 mph chase through three counties Saturday afternoon.

It started when New Braunfels PD attempted to pull over a Dodge Charger for a routine traffic stop on Hwy 46.

Instead the driver hit the gas, leading officers down 46 to Seguin, then onto I-10 west to San Antonio.

Along the way, the Comal, Guadalupe and Bexar County Sheriffs Departments, San Antonio Police and the DPS on the ground ad in a helicopter were involved.

Police say during the chase, te driver was tossing items out thewindows of his car.

The chase finally ended in southwest San Antonio, after the driver exited the highway and smashed into a neighborhood entry sign.

The items thrown from the car turned out to be drugs, including meth and marijuana.

The driver, identified as Alfred Bow, 31, of San Antonio is facing a laundry list of charges.. He has been booked into the Comal County Jail.
