6:20PM Update - Rain and winds have slightly decreased over the last 2 hours. Power outages at one point were at 9,800 and but CPS is reporting it is now down to 2,400. We lost power  several ties at the station as well but wer back online within 30 minutes.

2:00PM Update -  Wind and rain steadily increasing, but still moderate at this point. The I-10 Access Road is showing signs of higher water levels starting to build.

12:22PM Update- Still pretty calm, but as you can hear from the video winds are definitely picking up. The National Weather Service at 11:57a - Highest winds and heaviest rains in the rain bands approaching Austin/San Antonio

10:00AM Update - It has been nothing more than a rainy Saturday at the studios thus far.

The National Weather Service says the strongest gusts so far have been 48 mph reported in San Antonio and 51 mph recorded in Austin.

Seven streets have been barricaded due to high water, but only about 1500 CPS Energy customers were without power, an indication that widespread tropical storm force winds have yet to be a major problem in the city.
